Brazilian farmers are expected to harvest 117.9 million tonnes of soybeans in the 2017/18 crop cycle, Agrural, an agribusiness consultancy, said on Monday.

Agrural, which had forecast output at 116.2 million tonnes in a previous forecast, cited an expected rise in yields as a key factor for the revision. Agrural said average yields in soy fields will be a record 56.6 bags per hectare, higher than the 56.1 percent in the last season.
